At first I thought this Nickel was simply scratched. Looking more closely at the unusual pattern made me notice what appear to be multiple die streaks on the Observe. In the same area on the Reverse appear to be scratches in the same location. Any insights if this is MD or PMD?

Machine damage of some sort, that wasn't done at the mint.

It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint).

Almost by definition, scratches will be PMD.

An angled blade made these cuts and ruined this nickel.
