Looks like corrosion and badly scratched and worn. Don't know how much value it would have, you can buy an 1880 Indian Head in much better shape than that for $3-4.00

Lol I know that, I was wondering if it was a mint error though it is indented outward. Can't really tell from the photo

Looks like the corrosion was scraped off by a knife. If it's bowed out, it appears to be pushed from back to front, just damage, been on the ground a while.

If you don't say you were looking at it being indented outward and we can't see it on the photos, then how are we supposed to know that's what you were referring to?

Just a deliberate defacing for whatever reason.

I Forgot to mention it weighs 2.8 grams as well. I will take a few more pictures hopefully some better ones when I have a chance.

Theres no need to take more photos, the coin's been damaged, theres really no way to tell exactly what caused it because theres infinite amounts of ways to damage a coin, but it certainly didnt get this way from the mint

Yeah, your coin holding forceps are worth more than the coin!

It's a damaged coin. It's Post Strike Damage (meaning that it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). Not an error at all.
Errers and Varietys.

No need to hold that coin any longer with those tongs . The obverse has been beat to a bloody pulp . Looks like road kill or as mentioned, someone deliberately messed it up .
