A friend of mine showed a Morgan silver dollar from 1901 with a cc for the mint stamp from Carson City everything I find says the cc mint shut down in 1893 I'm trying to find the value of it.

there is no Carson City Morgans for 1901, it is a fake, you are correct 1893 was the last year for C.C. Morgan dollars.

It's a fake. CC Morgan dollars were made only in 1893 and before.

So it has no value even to a collecto. Is it counterfeit or maybe even a misprint. I'll post pictures of it a little later.

Pictures are going to help. Along with weight, in grams.

The closest I can think of is a 1900 O over CC mint mark.

If you are sure it is a 1901 CC, then it is most likely a fake or
altered coin. If that is the case it would have to be made of
silver to have any value.

There are some collectors that will pay a few dollars to add a
fake coin to their collection. Just to have examples of what
different fake coins are like.
