Opinions On If This Is An 1871 2c Doubled Die Obverse / DDO FS-301

Please let me know what you think, here are the pics. As an aside, it is in a slabbed, but not attributed the DDO. is it worth re-submitting it for that? Report this Post to the Staff

Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4396 Posts	Posted 08/28/2018 7:46 pm That does look like FS-301, nice find! FS-301 is a RPD (repunched date) not a DDO (doubled die obverse). The repunched date doesn't add much value to the coin (according to the CherryPickers' Guide) so I don't think it is worth getting reslabbed. Report this Post to the Staff
