I found this 1988 D LMC and while worn the FG almost looks like a transitional variety. The FG is closer to the memorial And the G has the same roundness as my other 1988 D FS-901. Insight please.
Looks like a normal RDV-005. The damage if it were a RDC-006 would cancel out any premium for the coin. The location of the FG and the widths are are different. It is a 005.
Honestly, my first impression was with the damage at the base of the memorial may have flattened the G out making it appear to be the Flared G or at least the top of one.
