I normally dont pay attention to coins from a store given as change. But this penny was given unintentionally because of a shortage of nickels. It just caught my eye really. Not because of some obviouse flaw, but because of its feel.

Face side felt deeper than usual pennies. And on obverse side print is misaligned with thick edge on left side and barely to no edge on top right, with coin being thinner in that atea as well.

Just wondering how many coins are printed so oddly.
Please get back to me with feed back.

I have other coins from around world I may get on here with as well.

Without a pix can only guess. It may be a tilted die strike putting more pressure on half the coin, not filling in correctly on reverse, of a Grease Filled Die upon striking. Both are common machining errors in coin making.

No need to ask for pictures but FYI-
Cents are minted, Banknotes are printed.
