I'm looking for your help on this one. I currently have a small date to compare it to. Everything matches including the faint ty on Liberty. It looks like the nine is pointing right at the seven. The bottom of the nine doesn't go below the top of the mint mark. Please help me out folks.

Large date. Sorry. The 7 is lower than the 0. And the faintness of TY that would be on a SD is not present.
Rest in Peace

Those are all pix of large date coins, you can't go by Mintmark alone, the other keys as outlined here: The 7 isn't centered between the 9 & 0, tops are not even all across, 7 is tilted and has a longer tail than 0. And the BERTY on ALL sm dates is ALWAYS mushy, not as clear as a normal coin. Oh, note the curve of the 9 points to the 7 on a small date.

Thank you so much. I thought I knew a little about small dates. It turns out that I know very little about small dates. Thanks everybody.

A little late to the party, but that indeed is a large date.

I actually have a good little story to tell about this coin... I was going through rolls of cents back in early January of last year, and I bust open a roll, and a coin jumps out at me, not because of the date (which was hidden by another coin), but because of the way the word "LIBERTY" looked - it was weak, just like on the 1970-S Small Date. Before I saw the date, I was thinking "did I just find one?" And sure enough, it was!

Even rotating doesn't fool us. We see that soften on ebay. So instead of look at the bottom of the '7'. You look at the top of the '7' to see what it is.
