The New 5 And 10 Dollar Note Observation

gxseries Pillar of the Community Australia 3831 Posts	Posted 09/01/2018 6:51 pm The new 5 dollar note was released back in 2016 and 10 dollar just last year. I am somewhat surprised to see that the older notes have essentially disappeared from circulation. Is this is the same where you are at? ryurazu Pillar of the Community Australia 1333 Posts	Posted 09/02/2018 11:33 pm No sure what topic on this forum, but someone sugguested that the banks are removing them from circulation. However I also notice that the new notes are way more creaseable then the older notes. Should be fun to find out that these newer note are going to be less durable than the older notes I also noticed that any old notes that you do see usally are in very good condition. According to the Reserve Bank: "The $5 note, for example, was released in September 2016 [and] it only just reached 55 per cent saturation.
