Hello everyone! Not sure what is going on here. Something seems strange about Abe's collar and bow tie in this one and does not appear to be scratched. I have included a comparison image from a normal 1995 LMC as the first image followed by the problem one. What could cause this?

Thanks E&V. Could you have a second look. I added a normal strike image as a comparison.

I rechecked your coin, and it's normal.

Thanks! Strange, they look totally different to me, with a missing bow loop and extra loops to the left up the collar. But, what do I know. Maybe there are others out there and they are all considered "normal" strikes.

The devices are normal, but the marks that are incuse, is damage to the coin.

No the coin was damaged after the strike. Sometimes while exiting the machine, or during the unrolling into the registers. A bunch stayed together and made a contact mark on this coin that was on the bottom of stack. Just a damaged coin. Not a mint error.

Yep, some PMD, not an error.
