Definitely looks like a doubled die obverse but the problem is every site they are listed there aren't pictures of most of the listed ones so could be the one with not pictured because I don't think it quite matches this one on VV but looks close the bottom of the first T in TRUST is what gets me thinking not this one. http://www.varietyvista.com/12%20Ke...4PDDO038.htm

I just looked at Wexler's site. There is an issue with Master die and Working hub doubling. Quote:
1964 50˘ Pr WMDO-001 Doubled Master Die
1964 50˘ WMDO-002 Doubled Master Die
1964 50˘ WWHO-001 Doubled Working Hub
1964 50˘ WWHO-002 Doubled Working Hub
1964 50˘ WWHO-003 Doubled Working Hub
With this issue a lot of listed doubled doubled dies are being removed and will disappoint many that were listed. So hang onto them for now.

I'm seeing a DDO, but with no photos of the master die issue, I can't say for sure. Hold onto it!

I think your half dollar is a EDS and an example of the MDO-002 in the CONECA Master Listings, http://varietyvista.com/Variety%20M...%201964.htm. I compared your photos with the CONECA listings and my collection keying on the first T and the ST in TRUST and I don't see anything that matches. The DDO-038 is close, but the first T in TRUST is not the same. Attached is a photo of the page in James Wiles Kennedy half dollar Book showing the Master Die Obverse 002. Larry Nienaber
