the overall look of the coin points closer to XF40 than 45. however it appears to be softer strike that could be contributing to that. I'm not sure about the what appears to be corrosion on the obverse. it could have been a flawed planchet or from something striking it. the only way to tell is in hand or blow up that area in a more crispy photo. i'll reserve the details designation as its not clear enough to determine.
After reviewing the new photos, I rescind my previous grade of XF40 and regrade the coin XF45. photos make a difference. I am wondering though about the area on the cheek and below the chin is some level of corrosion.
