Looking at the right side of the '8' was all I needed to see it was a DDO. Now for the bad news. I was preparing this die for my educational image files and guess what. It is not a doubled die, but a die created from a doubled working hub. So there will be several of these dies out there. Who know how many was affected. That means there are several cents out there. So it is not a doubled doubled die, but a doubled hub issue. I guess CONECA hasn't spotted it yet. Several different dies will have different markers. http://doubleddie.com/432422.html Bummer. Funny how it makes sense now when looking at the page of 1989 DDO's on the cents. The doubling was same on each coin listed. Just different markers.
