1989 LMC This has enough of the markers to be correct.

Nice find.

Die scratches are a match on LIBERTY. Looking at the right side of the '8' was all I needed to see it was a DDO.

Now for the bad news. I was preparing this die for my educational image files and guess what. It is not a doubled die, but a die created from a doubled working hub. So there will be several of these dies out there. Who know how many was affected. That means there are several cents out there. So it is not a doubled doubled die, but a doubled hub issue. I guess CONECA hasn't spotted it yet.

Several different dies will have different markers.

Bummer.

Looks like most of the CONECA listings are the same hub examples.

Right off the bat first give away for me before checking markers is the Egg shaped inner loops in the 8 and the fat legs on 9s. Excellent catch.

These are from a doubled hub. So there are many of them. Most of the Variety Vista coin listing are from the other same hub. So they won't have a premium when they figure this out.

Bummer.

Well I technically had a DDO for a moment. It is going to be a keeper with a note attached to it.
Thanks Coop for the info.

It was news to me. Eventually this page on Variety Vista will look like the 1964 Half dollars. Funny how it makes sense now when looking at the page of 1989 DDO's on the cents. The doubling was same on each coin listed. Just different markers. I bet the same thing happened on the other mint as well.
