echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 09/06/2018 4:49 pm The Golden Horde a branch of the Mongol Empire that ruled a vast area from Russia in the Northwest to lands bordering the Black Sea. The Golden Horde was founded by Batu Khan a grandson of Ghenghis Khan in the 1240's and lasted until circa 1502. Jani Beg, who's full name was Jalal al-Din Mahmud Jani Beg, was the son of Uzbeg Khan the longest reigning Khan 1313-1341. Jani Beg seceded in 1341 and ruled until 1357.
