If it was a die crack, it would be raised.
That looks incuse so it is PMD

When it's incused, it means that it is damage most of the time. It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint).

Note the mark is incuse. Damaged as mentioned. Perhaps hit with a knife blade as it doesn't show on the reverse like side bu pliers would affect both sides.
