Possible rare 1982 d small date?

The rare one is the copper 82D small date. Yours looks to be zinc by the images. You would have to weight it. Needs to be 3.2 grams for the money.

It's a Small Date Cent. If you can confirm the weight, then we can tell if it's Zinc or Copper.

ok I have listened over and over brass pinny should weigh 3.11 and Zinc should be 2.5 Now which is the rare is suppose to weigh trying to stay optimic ?

The rare one is supposed to weigh close to 3.1 grams. Only one has been found so far. It's made out of Bronze. https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/l...view/3-7WIR5

Zinc, 2.5 gr common coin
Copper,3.11gr, only one known to exist.
