Pictures here are of coin. Looks and feels like pewter which I know they made some of. Only 1 R in currency. Whats telling me its fake is the design especially on the obverse to the left of the sundial shows no lines. kind of solid. also the reverse shows faded lettering and that looks fake.

Thoughts?

Definitely a fake Continental dollar. These are one of the most copied colonial coins.

Looks very un-natural and has too good detail in some areas and not in others that occupy a similar surface level.

This replica probably dates to the 1960's; and, prior to the COPY stamp law of 1973.
