2008 P Memorial Cent Struck Through Heavy Grease (Zinc Rotted Yuck!)

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74881 Posts	Posted 09/08/2018 7:45 pm I found this in a circulated bankroll, from a bank box of U.S. Pennies from last week. It's Zinc Rotted unfortunately, when I found it. I gave it an Acetone soak, to get anything bad off the surfaces, but the Zinc Rot is always permanent. I'll keep it anyways, since I got it for face value (for 1 cent). I put it in a 2x2 coin flip, and staple it, to try to conserve it from rotting even more. It's nearly dateless, from being Struck Through Grease. I was barely able to see the date (the 2, 0's, and the very faint outline of the 8). Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
