The date is showing Die Deterioration that is common on the new dimes. Not a doubled die. But on the motto that area on the fields looks like field disturbance behind the motto. Also not a doubled die. On a doubled die, there will be evidence of a doubled image on the die, making the same doubling on the coin. On your coin the devices are normal size. So they can't be a doubled die. Die Deterioration flow in the direction of the rim, exactly like the date on your coin. No doubled die present. Die events shown on the coin. Why are these not worth a premium All dies when they age continue to strike hundreds of thousands of coin like these from all dies when they get closer to retirement.

With Coop. It's Die Deterioration, caused by a worn die issue. The die was pretty much ready for retirement.
