Quote: What's with the brutally low price of silver at the moment? Yet no price drop on NCLTs When there is some drop in oil price, I sometime notice reduce of the fuel price, but never saw, that the grocery items becomes cheaper (due to less expense in the transportation).

I agree. It is a nice looking coin and the package is nice as well. I also received mine at noon. But I wish it wasn't a scalloped coin. That's the only thing I dislike about the coin.

The design is very attractive.
Congrats for nice coin!
Did you get 'special COA'?
This is the World-first Scalloped Maple Leaf (for 1oz for sure)
Might be with limited availability, and the "First ever" it will be super hit?

@Silveroid Quote: This is the World-first Scalloped Maple Leaf (for 1oz for sure) Just to clarify that the coin is only 26.51 grams and not 1 oz. About The Coin: Taken from the COA This scallop-shaped$20 coin is 99.99 pure silver and fully gold-plated, with a diameter of 38 mm and a nominal metal weight of 26.51 grams. The reverse features a trio of maple leaves designed by Royal Canadian Mint artist and senior engraver Stan Witten, as seen on the reverse of the world's first million-dollar coin released in 2007. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Since in their last quarterly report, that NCLT sales are down by about half the RCM should have in the beginning minted a special 500 or 1000 limit coin for the best of the best customers as a real reward. Although a nice thought this coin will like almost all recent NCLT drift to almost bullion value, I received a random 3200 COA didn't even think of giving a nice low # to reward their better customer no wonder sales are cratering

Don't feel to bad john100, I received #3422 and in the past 2 years I purchased over 23 grand of coins. This year will be less than not worthy to even mention.

Thank you, Jimper, for details.
Yes, I forgot, that these coins lost few grams due to shape and same 38 mm diameter.
I've quickly tried to check the internet for your COA... really not much.
It will be good for CDBB (Centre for Digital Built Britain) member, I don't think, that it will make the coin special.

I love the colourful package and the nice wooden box. But the coin itself is average. Had the coin adapted the same blue, purple, and silver colours of the package, instead of being gold plated, the coin would be more appealing, I think.
Also, personally, the maple leaves design itself is not as attractive as the bullion maple leaf design. I would buy anything with the classic Maple Leaf design on it.
My COA number is around 660.

@YesOrNo... You seem to have won the lottery Quote: My COA number is around 660. My COA is similar to @jimper & @john100 at #2671. While this was "free" (price of admission was sufficient purchase to be Platinum+) it was a little galling to see the thank you note that indicated a low COA number. On an issue of 6,000 units, a low COA # is less than 1,000 or ideally, less than 600 (10%). 2600 or 3200/3300 is not a low COA.

I hate to say, but kind of feel happy with my totally random COA of 519. It really is a nice coin. My wife even liked the colours on the outer box.

Isn't this sort of the problem with the recent NCLT, the few positive response is the outer box design is better than the gold plated coin itself. The only reason I brought up the low COA was that was suppose to be one of the benefits of being a MC

@john100 Agree... On the "thank you" note included with the coin, it said I had a low COA. I am not a COA collector nor is it really that important to me but to be offered a low COA and get 2700 out of 6000 feels off. Unlike some of the prior commentary, I quite like the scalloped edge... I kept the "Master Of" series and have subscribed to the scalloped Chinese Calendar series. Regarding this coin... I like it well enough and the RCM don't need to offer a free coin to Platinum members so it is welcome but the bungle on the COA takes some of the shine off. They would have been better not mentioning it. It is similar to the let down you experience when you get notified of a $1,000 bonus at work then look at your paycheque to see that almost half of that has gone to payroll taxes... Yes it is nice and unexpected but disappointing all at the same time as you feel the potential was not really fulfilled.
