Came across this 1914s cent—pretty irritating what someone did—any value to this craped up coin?

Maybe not done purposely - Older Vending machines did damage to coins especially when they got "jammed" in the mechanism. There were plenty of (I hate to say it) "Penny" vending machines back in the day -

It's just a space-filler. Worth a few bucks? But how would you sell it?

If it was done intentionally, the person (kid) would have taken a hammer to it.

Well worn, but the matching linear marks across the bottom of Abe's bust and then going from the rim to the N in ONE sure look like purposeful damage such as by wire cutters. I agree not a ton of value, but not a spender.

It's still a nice coin. Keep it and fill the hole until a better one comes along. F-12, Details, Damaged, Corrosion or Cleaned......pick one.

Fills a hole. If you put it on the bay, do it as a real auction, .99 cent starting. I betcha the last minute you get crazy bids.

Someone will buy it for at least a few bucks over the shipping, ebay fee and PayPal fee costs.
