coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/16/2018 11:19 am It's not that the RPM is getting stronger because of die flow. The angle is just in the die flow direction. It sometimes enhances it more or makes nothing look like a mint mark, when on the fresh die, nothing was there. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/17/2018 9:47 pm Example: For years this coin was listed as a D/S mint mark. But a few years back, someone had an earlier die state coin, with out the affected area. They determined it to be a die flow issue perhaps on a rough part of the die. When the die aged, it enhanced what wasn't there from the beginning. So the listing was debunked. (People who bought these, now have a debunked variety now worth, one cent) Note how the die flow created this? All the marks are in the same direction.
