Hey everyone,I ran across this 1989 penny,Philadelphia mint, and it sure seems to have a variety of things going on,can the experts give me some insight on what I am looking at here,Thanks guys. The motto in God we trust on the obverse side seems to show doubling on several letters including the S and U,I also believe there is doubling in the word liberty and the hair on his forehead,on the reverse +I believe there is doubling in the words,ONE CENT and America,I am a newbie here so any comments as to the type of doubling,( if any ) and other issues with this coin would be greatly appreciated, Thanks again.

Die Deterioration Doubling, not a doubled die.

It's Die Deterioration Doubling, caused by a worn die issue, from striking a lot of coins at the U.S. Mint.

Also split plating. When your see the gray, the covering is coming off the coin. Just a future copper colored Hershey's in the future. Very spendable.
