Did Canada mint any silver pennies in 1962, or ever. The metal is all the way through as you can see in the hokecdrilled. Any ideas?
Sorry for the cropped photos, not good at this yet.

So the plating must be after the drilling? Otherwise I would expect to see copper in the hole? Or maybe the drill left the material?

Would be plated after hole drilled and counterstamped.
Have seen that counterstamp Masonic logo before.
Probably made for a piece of jewellery.

Trying to show inside the counterstamp, you can actually read the letters that got stamped. Hard to show on pics. If you can't see the letters in this pic, I'll take a better one when I get home. Plated huh? I was hoping soneone was working in the mint in 62 and made a little souvenir medallion..

Still can't see the letters too well in this pic, I'll do another one tonight or in the morning. I thank you all for your help with this. This is the best resource for sure. You guys are great! I have so many more I want to get you all to check out for me. I will get better at this with a bit of time and practice.
Regards

Just plated. Those Masons will leave their stamps on almost anything they can get ahold of.
