TheDeductible Pillar of the Community Canada 851 Posts	Posted 09/21/2018 07:20 am I'd guess PMD as I can't imagine this happening to a coin in the mint process. It looks like it was struck with a very heavy blow to me. The markings show scratches in the direction of the bald spots suggesting something was heavily dragged across the coin to cause the damage. Anyway, that's my guess. Someone else with more experience may say otherwise... Report this Post to the Staff
