to CCF!

I am thinking that your nickel is stained. That would fall under environmental damage. It doesn't really have the look of an alloy mix issue and definitely not that of an annealing error.

An annealing issue leaves the color more of a darker gray/black. Unless I find them in an OBW roll, I don't consider them as the real deal as they are tampered with a lot to fake this.

Yeah, this one is PMD from environmental damage.

It's stained from Environmental Damage. Worth only face value unfortunately, because it's just a damaged coin.

So thats not the copper showing through on the first picture. It could also be the light I took it under. Let me get some better pictures to show y'all. I think its a really cool coin. Can I at least get a, thats a neat looking coin? I'm not looking at it for trying to flip or make money off of it. Its been in a soft bag since it came out of circulation. I know my dad and how he would go to the bank and get rolls of coins. It does have some damage but not that much. Still.. I am gonna say its a cool looking coin. And I have a few others that have the greenish or black color to them . black nickles correct?

No. It is stained, either buried in ground for a while or beverage spill cocacola dried up on it,it happened after it left the Mint.
