Hello to all from Rowellcents!

To start, I am about 3 to 4 months into this truly interesting hobby of coin searching and collecting in the variety and error Coin World, with the Lincoln Cent being my primary focus.

So, with that noted, I am seeking any and all information, thoughts, and ideas, (whether good or not so good, all is appreciated), on what I have come to believe through many, many, hours of personal research, are two previously unknown and therefore very rare Lincoln Memorial cent Double Die Reverse Varieties or Error Pennies. I arrived at this conclusion through extensive research via the internet and search methods in which I have not been successful in finding any published, listed or known examples of either one of these two apparantly very rare and really exciting finds of which in the case that I am correct in my thoughts, would be a remarkable story in itself!!

Details:

#1. Is a 1982 (P) or (Philadelphia Mint/No Mint Mark), Large Date, 3.11g Copper, Lincoln Memorial cent DDR Double Die Reverse!

#2. Is a 1973 (D) or (Denver Mint), Lincoln Memorial cent DDR Double Die Reverse!

As I previously mentioned, I am still very new at this hobby and I also realize that there is a chance in which I could just be dreaming or mistaken and I also acknowledge the fact that there are most likely many claims as such as mine that turn out to be a false alarm or some type of deceptive ploy in which the purpose would be to fool people for monetary gain. However, I assure you that I am being 100% truthful and that I am genuine and serious in the fact that the facts in which I state are indeed valid as to the level of my knowledge base concerning the LMC Variety and Error Coin World is concerned.

I discovered both of these apparent extreme rarieties while glassing through a small cache of pennies, around $3.00 worth,in which I had been saving before I even got started into this amazingly interesting and exciting hobby! I am limited as far as searching and documentation equipment is concerned due to a very limited and well-strecthed financial situation and so all of my coin searching is done via a simple, small, quarter sized sight glass with a 16x magnification. I found the 1982 piece first and the 1973 piece a few days latter during my next section. So as far as I can discern, being that both are indeed what I truly believe are true DDR examples, this whole story is something
of very to extremely rare and possibly even never happened as such before. Either way, I am hooked and have been very excited about this whole deal!

As best I can judge, in which I'm sure I'm off, both the 1982 and 1973 are in the AU-58 grade area and due to my already stretched budget and the fact that these could possibly be new discoveries and perhaps (hopefully) quite valuable and so to be honest I am scared of them being lost or stolen, etc. and so have not sent them off for third party grading, although I know it would for certain verify what I have.

I am going to attempt to photograph both coins and their doubling and post them for further discretion by those of whom are more knowledgeable and better experienced. However, all I have is a simple camera on an even simpler phone but I'm going to do my best to provide as quality of an image for both coins as my equipment will produce.

I sincerely appreciate any and all help, details, information, etc. in which will help me to figure out what route to take with these two possible one of a kind pieces!!
