It appears to be a centered broadstrike, which would be very cool!

Very cool indeed. It is a out-of collar broadstruck coin that appears to have been struck with a slightly tilted hammer die. This put the initial contact at the 6 o'clock position slightly lifting up the coin then slamming it down as seen in the stretching of IGWT and complete disappearance of WE ans the resultant effect on the reverse on EPU. The heavy rims and depth indicate a lot of pressure upon strike, maybe an over-pressure strike as well(my imagination says it blew the collar out, but I doubt that! LOL!)

Coin is in excellent condition and would grade at least an MS62BN if not more. Would probably be worthwhile submitting this one and getting it certified and graded for perpetuity's sake. Have no idea what one like this is worth, in this condition, as on-of-a-kind, sky's the limit! Where'd you come across this one?.

(I don't believe I just said to submit a coin, that's a first!)

It very well may be worth submitting for grading and error attribution. The error adds most of the value in this case, not the coin or its condition (although nice).

I'm right there with you. However, this coin in this condition with this error is something worth noticing, I think. I could be way off, though.

Hi guys, sorry for the late response. I work crazy hours. Ill definitely go tomorrow to get it looked at. Anyone good you know in ny?
The story behind it is the age old barn find... we just throw loose change into a bucket whenever we can. What got me looking was a video on youtube about the Eisenhower bicentennial dollar and I have about 7 with no mint mark and they are second additions also. Trying to strike it rich here, but the next video was about the double strike 1969 penny and the value so I decided to dig through the pennys seeing if I had one and came across this that seemed odd so I took the magnifying glass and take a look and boom thats it. Found by complete mistake looking at spare change to find a different coin.

I would check ebay and look for Fred Weinberg for direction on this one. While it looks interesting to me, it is also making it me question it as the same time?

To CCF! Congratulations on such a nice find! Make sure you do not throw that back in the change jar.
