Found this 2018 one cent with something going across the A in AMERICA.What could this be any thoughts?

@NC, if it isn't a strike-through then it would be damage of some sort. It is a little hard to tell if that grey color is a stain or just the underlying zinc core poking through an area where the copper plating has been scraped away.

I agree with spence and damage of some sort. PMD
If you look at the side of the A, you can see wear wha appears to
have had something strike it and push the copper cladding.
