I'm kinda confused with your question. I do see some Die Deterioration going on your coin.

There may have been a slight grease-fill on most of the die's perimeter, except the mintmark, when the coin was struck and that caused those other outer devices to be shallower.

It is not possible for the mintmark position to have changed for this year coin, so what you may see is only due to other effects such as grease and/or Die Deterioration, as E&V mentioned.

For educational purposes, I'll share my image, that I created on Die Deterioration. Hopefully this will help you understand it better.

A true doubled die coin is worth keeping. Your P mint mark looks a bit "deep set" into the die which would make it look higher above the surface of the finished coin. A mint mark issue has nothing to do with a doubled die,two different animals.

Take a look at variety Vista:
http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htm
The last DDO listed was in 1989-P Dime. Before that 1972-S. So there are no new DDO's on the dimes since 1989.

Wexler lists a 2012-P DDO (just one)
http://www.doubleddie.com/2257221.html
The rest of his listing are after 1970 are all DDRs. Just one 2012-P and a 2004-D Stange ear DDO.
