Bate , what part of the eye do you feel is being doubled here? Remember, the high part of the design is what you will see duplicated when doubling occurs.

The shape isn't what an eye lid would look like. What you are seeing is die flow lines on a later die state coin:
1946-LWC.-DDO-New-Listing-Maybe?
Doubled eyelid would be more like this:
1946-LWC.-DDO-New-Listing-Maybe?
It is the lid itself that makes first contact on the die. Thus that angle.
