Looks like vending machine damage.

It's damage ( PSD) unfortunately. You can see the exposed Zinc, from taking a well placed hit.

Split plating will make the zinc react to oxygen in the air. Not a keeper, a spender. Damage to the coin. Someday it will just be a copper colored hershey's kiss wrapper. LOL

A lot of plating bubbles + zinc rot. Spend it before it turns into a rotting-away disc-shaped piece of metal.
