Its not minting damage. We see these on the forum all the time where someone thinks it is an error. As stated, it is caused by some sort of wrapping/counting machine damage. There is no way those lines could occur during the minting process.
I have to disagree. Perhaps the picture is not showing the damage well enough. The coin itself is raised in the center and the stamping traverses the edge.
If you believe it's a mint error, you're free to send it in to a professional grading service to get it attributed. What kind of error do you believe this to be?
No more pictures needed, it's not an error. We've literally seen this damage thousands of times on this forum alone. I'm locking this topic so you don't get piled on for weeks. When you get it back from NGC or PCGS message me through the contact form and I'll unlock this topic so you can post pics.
This is just one of the many machines that leave this damage...
