The double toning was present before I dropped them in warm water and a bit of apple cider vinegar earlier today. My reason for doing so was to make sure it wasn't some type of staining. I could actually feel the streaks shown when I touched it. As far as the 1926, not a fingerprint imo. If you look closely somewhat in the middle of what appears to be a print, you'll see letters of some type.

The 1926 reverse definitely shows an old fingerprint. I need better pics of the '32 obverse to determine what's actually going on.

Never clean coins. Just think,if it was a real nice woody it now has lost all collector interest. John1

I don't know where you got overdates from . These coins show environmental damage and problems from an old cleaning . They are virtually Turkeys with little or no value except for the hole fillers out there .

Never clean coins with apple cider vinegar. The value has been destroyed. Only use 100% pure Acetone only.
Errers and Varietys.

Apple cider vinegar or any type of vinegar is not a good thing for cleaning no matter what the internet claims.

Why is it bad? If removes the original surface of the coin. The cartwheels are stripped off the coin. Turns them pink. And if the buyer detects that it was altered, it is rejected. So why ruin the future collectable life for your coin?

Looks like the 1926 is a fingerprint. The '32 could be an alloy mix anomaly (referred to as a "woody") or it could be a lamination.
Either way, the value has been significantly reduced by the cleaning.
