I have recently picked up a few upgrades for my silver classic commemorative set. First is a Lynchburg commemorative in PCGS MS67. I found the toning on this one interesting - a faint blue with gold periphery and highlights. Next is an Iowa commemorative in NGC MS68. It's my first, but hopefully not my last, MS68-graded commemorative. Nice peripheral toning on the obverse, and light toning over the reverse. Lastly, a 1937-S Texas commemorative in NGC MS67. I overpaid a bit for this one due to a goof - it had a starting bid set and nobody had yet bid on it, but I checked the CDN prices and thought it was quite reasonable. Won it for the starting bid, which made me scratch my head a bit. I was checking on a number of other coins at the time, and it turned out I looked at the wrong date in the CDN price list for this one ('36-S instead of '37-S)... Oh, well, I still like the coin so I'm OK with it.
