Conversely to build an impressive numismatic collection you have to have a understanding of the history of the times represented by the coinage, currencys, and various paraphernalia of the times. My true strength was in Historical firearms and weaponry of the conflicts, that, and the strategys and politics behind them. Delving into coinage, currencys, and economics that are always the true drivers behind conflict is a thing I came late to but I'm finding just as fascinating. Lately Ive been chasing my tail with the silver price dive. Bar's, coins, rounds...ect Ive been spending a small fortune in the dip. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to collecting by fall. Until then I have all the excellent numismatic coinage both you and the others post here. I enjoy watching this thread immensely. |

Bryan you and GLB are the SilverKings of the forum as far as I'm concerned.
Silver is my favorite metal. It had better be since Ive sunk a small fortune into it. But with my bullion needs secured I really want to get back to collecting. American numismatics most of all but there are foreign Sov's I want as well.
