So, I went back where I went yesterday to look for more silver. Here's the haul from both days. Each coin was 50 cents, and only one (the 10 Öre) clocks in under that for melt value. Total cost: $7.42. Total melt value, after weighing each coin: $22.31

I'm about a year into a Twentieth Century type set for Mexico. This beauty arrived in today's mail.

5 Pesos, 1950. Crown size.

Why?

Because of the 56 states, districts and territories I need to complete a full 'set' of samples, this was #45

And it's very rare - David has only seen two others in all the years he's been monitoring sample sales

And the last one sold for $150

And I paid A LOT less.

I still need:

Alaska (AK)
American Samoa (AS)
Guam (GU)
Idaho (ID)
Kansas (KS)
Minnesota (MN)
Northern Marianas (MP)
Oregon (OR)
Utah (UT)
US Virgin Islands (VI)
Washington (WA)
Wyoming (WY)

The 50 State Quarters, and ATB both count (my set, MY rules :-)) oh, and I'm not proud, any sonic sealed slab.
