My 1919 Mexico peso arrived today, the last coin needed for my 1905 - 1992 regular issue type set (not counting gold.)

.800 Ag, 35mm, that fineness issued 1918 and 1919 only. (the subsequent pesos through 1945 are .720 fine.

In BU it is quite a pricey coin. This example was offered "per scan" and looks to be an XF example. Hairlines from buffing are evident, but at less than $50 with shipping, I can be satisfied until I hit the trifecta.

Another Mexico treasure arrived today - a silver 1 peso Oaxaca 1915 revolutionary coin, MS62. I usually don't purchase slabbed coins but this was less than raw coins of late, and at least I am hopefully assured of its quality.

Bought this coin, date unknown, since it is on the edge.
Looks to be a very nice uncirculated
1966 500 Lire .835 silver coin from Italy.
It has the Three ships of Columbus on the reverse. Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. On the obverse a bust of woman in renaissance dress, representing Italy, surrounded by 19 shields.
From lower left the shields are: Genova, Torino, Aosta, Milano, Trento, Venezia, Trieste, Udine, Bologna, Firenze, Ancona, Perugia, Roma, L'Aquila, Napoli, Bari, Potenza, Catanzaro, Sicilia, Cagliari. The last two are hidden behind the bust.
These are my images I just took. Mintage is 13,120,000 which is a high one that year for the series that ran 1958 to 2001.
I may start chasing down more.

Now that I completed my set of 1917 Finland uncrowned eagle coins, I've started into the 1917 regular crowned eagle/monogram types. Here is a 1917 50 pennia I just got today.

New today to my Mexico type collection, 1 peso silver revolutionary issue of Oaxaca, note different pointing of bust to star at left from my previous post.

I apologize for the poor images. I'm a coin collector not a coin photographer.

Thank you.Given the recent passing of my wife's mom, dealing with all the joys of estate dispersal, and health probs for my wife and I, am glad to have this outlet for a diversion. Jeff
