Quote: I recently purchased my first Steel Lincolns. Both are 1943-S. One has a weak 4, and the other one has a prominent obverse die crack, and it is super lustrous. Very nice!

Whacking away at my lengthy 5 cent catch up list, I realized I never even heard of the 2018 colorized Canadian 5 cent silver proof. Not thrilled to have that missing and not really thrilled it was ever made but when I have to have em all what are ya gonna do? So I got Five 5 Cent coins coming. Every year Canada kills me with at least 4 Five cent coins each year. Still will need the regular steel or nickel proof.

I don't think I have any other "colorized" Canadian coins. This will be my first. So expensive! Mintage is 7000 for that one.

Thanks Dorado!
I'm pretty green to the collecting world but when my 9 year old son expressed an interest in some old silver dollars that my Mom left me after she passed, I couldn't resist starting to grow my collection!

@TNG The set from the mint included some nice coins and a special Medallion as well. The 50c is really nice looking. I had ordered it last August but only received it late January due to a production issue. The set sold out almost immediately I guess and I see individual coins listing for $50-60 each on ebay now!
