He picked the coin up in November of 2012 and labeled it as XF. I know that's not sound evidence but it's more than nothing @PNWType: OK. If the piece was mine, however, I would have it checked out by an independent third party. It just doesn't look "right" to my eyes, but it could be an artifact of the images.
