Went to my LCS yesterday, which also doubles as a gun shop, and while picking up some ammo came home with these!

Nice Mercs but I'm more interested in a gun store that actually has ammo in stock -

Picked up a 1875-S 20C piece about two weeks ago. By no means a high grade sample (NGC graded it at VF30), but I do like the obverse smooth field and the soft circulation cameo of the coin. Better yet, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.
The reverse has a little spot at K11, but that doesn't really bother me.

Thanks Rothery. They didn't have much selection for ammo, but had what I was looking for.
I also saw they have a number of Dansco albums on the shelf. I'm willing to get a list and connect them with anyone who might be interested.

2021 S Jefferson nickel NGC PF69

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions

Whoop de dooo
But I gotta have it to keep up the set, and to me there is no big deal between a PF69 or PF70. As long as it costs less than getting one slabbed, and it is already done, it's better than one in a 2x2.

Excellent!

I am guessing the nickel came from the birth set since the normal proof sets have not yet been released.

Please don't ask me why there is no "w" mint mark, I'm just an old dumb guy and I don't know.

Nice looking Silver Eagle NicsRule!

But yeah. Why isn't there a 'W' mint mark?

I did some Googling and the 2021-W SilverEagles I found had the mint mark to the left and under the eagle's wing on the reverse. Weird.

There is a thread on here that deals with this very subject:

http://goccf.com/t/332779

I really couldn't say it cleared up the whole thing for me but I think one take away is that the no mint mark ASE is classified as bullion and the ASE's with the mint mark are coins.....?.....like I said I'm just an old dumb guy.....

This one came today - an 1860-A Austrian Florin.

There are some marks on the bust but it has a frosted bust and eagle and flashy prooflike fields.
