MrPink2018 Pillar of the Community United States 2587 Posts	Posted 07/05/2021 9:42 pm most appropriate this evening: (must be something good if he's leading-off with the dancing banana) patience & careful planning pays. my very first '09-S LWC. now it's time to go after '14-D & '09-S VDB. i'll post the updated folder page when I get the coin to it. I haven't gotten that far yet. because I needed this date, MCMLXXXVI, 1986, first year of issue. I like the roman numeral-dating. because I wanted more gold and needed this date. (i have enough one-tenth oz gold eagles that I think i'll have a go at acquiring all the various specimens of them. i'll start by just continuing to acquire the various BU dates I don't have, but i'll need to do some reading, too.) and i waited & waited til this became available, it nicely coincided with the availability of the previous two coins, and since I was prepared for this alignment of good timing I capitalized quickly and had a really nice mail day today despite the encroaching ill-tempered weather event. with the addition of the V75 ASE I currently have just 2 other ASEs to go after. mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2985 Posts	Posted 07/06/2021 07:56 am Thats a nice trio there mrpink2018, and on the 1909-S cent, there is a possibility of 2 different re-punched mintmarks which would increase the value some. I got lucky on my 09-S Lincoln as when I purchased mine some time ago, it turned out to have the S/horizontal-S variety and I did not know that until I examined it later. I don't know why, but I find this and the 2014 Baseball coins appealing, even though I am not into sports and only casually think space is cool.
