I love this forum. It has taken me a bit but I have gone through them all.
Great looking coins. I want to thank all of you for sharing.
I have a lot of new additions but I still can't take a decent picture. :(
Keep it up... I enjoy

How I do it:
Under a defuse light source (angled, can be ceiling light) I place a black piece of paper on a table.
I then place the coin on the black piece of paper.
Next, I go to the kitchen and get a soup can. Place the can on the black paper near the coin but not between the light and the coin (to prevent shadows).
Finally, I place my cell phone on the soup can, select "focus macro", zoom in such that the image of the coin fills most of the screen, and snap the pic.

Or better yet, use the seller's photo

This is an Irish group of coins here. Ireland is a sideline collection for me, I have a few coins and some nice ones, but nowhere on the level of the British and Kiwi collections I have.

Sold as one group including a 1941 Halfcrown, 1942 Florin (Both 75% silver), a 1933 Halfpenny and 1936 Farthing

In Irish Gaelic I think they are Leat Coroin, Floroin, Leat pingin and Feorling.

You can see the Free state design on the copper and the Eire design on the silver (It changed in 1939, 1937 coins used Free State and no Irish coins came out in 1938)

They are all described as VF.

Thank you I have tried that. I am missing something. I gave up but think I will try again.
I did put a picture of a coin I recently got from the mint. It is under the grading forum. 2019 Kennedy half.
