Thanks Gary and Calzone, the next 2 I'm buying will be 1939 and 1937 Proofs. I can afford them quite easily - it will be the 1936 satin and brilliant proofs that will be expensive.
EDIT to add Calzone to the thanks line (now I want a calzone....)

There were only 5,569 1936 Wheat cent proofs made. Absolutely minuscule compared to, say, 1957, which saw 1.2 million proof Wheat cents struck. |

I'm aiming to hopefully get both. maybe not this year or next, but they are on my list. I receintly seen a 1912 Proof cent (graded by PCGS) for sale I almost jumped on that one too..  |

Unattributed late night random ebay find A late Gallienus with one of the more interesting reverses. There is an earlier reverse with DIANA LVCIFERA, too, along the same lines. A fair bit of silvering seems to be intact, and the golden-green patina is a nice touch. Gallienus has an astonishing number of reverses, many more than most other Emperors of his era, including the Roman Legion commemoratives and the "Zoo" series, among others. However, there are only two LVNA LVCIF reverse pairings -- this one, with a radiate & cuirassed bust, and one with an earlier-style draped bust. Not in hand yet, but will do updated photos later. Well, I'll have 2 more proof cent coins to show off soon. I just ordered the 1937 LWC in PCGS PR65 RB just now. paid $171 for it out the door total cost. PCGS values it at $200.00 So I got a good deal on it I think. Also it is 1 of only 56 graded with only 5 above it.  (Someday, I'll upgrade that 1914-D) I am also waiting on my 1939 Proof (PR 64 RD)to arrive as well Edited by Dearborn
