1880 S Morgan dollar PCGS MS63

Obverse has a nice reflective PL appearance.
Reverse looks semi PL with a frosty bird.

Well the 1939 Proof just arrived. PCGS PR64RD It has a slight rotation and a Rim Fin at the bottom of the reverse.
Overall a nice coin. I'm happy with this one.

1955 Franklin half dollar - Bugs Bunny Variety

I really liked the reverse on this one.

@Humble
1. That frosty eagle is amazing!

2. 1955 Bugs Benny: OK. I need your help. I just don't get it, but want to understand. This coin just looks filthy to me. To my unable-to-appreciate-it eye, it looks like someone took an airbrush and splatted black paint (or maybe even muddy water) all over a nice shiny half dollar.

But past experience in life has taught me that when I "just don't get it," that there can be something I do not see or know to look for and appreciate.

Since you like this coin, I want to learn. What makes a dirty looking "airbrush splatted" (to me) coin so attractive? What is my eye missing?

Thanks!

The obverse toning I could have lived without, the reverse toning to me looks amazing. The coin has great luster, nice bell lines, and a bugs variety. $18 price, I could not pass it up.

18.00 - Very nice price!

I can see how the contrast on the REV makes the Bell stand out more and is appealing (no pun) in its own way.

But I admit, I still would have that constant urge to "wipe the dirt off:" Which I would never do!

My final coin from Kazakhstan commemorates Abai Kunanbaev (1845-1904) who was a Kazakh poet, composer and philosopher.
