Must be a commemorative token, seeing that there is no denomination on it, thanking him for his service in the European theater. I am the same way on colorized coins, but The Royal Mint did this one nicely, and also the Flying Scotsman. Oddly, they made getting the non-colorized coins more difficult to obtain. Now RCM colorized coins are not that great and I am avoiding most. The 50 pence shape I am not a fan of, it is obvious I had trouble cropping the photo from Photoshop, and I even photographed on a black background and white background. The automatic selection was flawed and my hand was not steady enough, or patient enough, to do it manually with the magnetic selection. Round coins I can do all day. Report this Post to the Staff
