Well, I got another classic commemorative upgrade sort of by accident. Reminds me of another topic I recently saw in the forum 
. I saw a 1934 Texas commemorative for auction but was a bit undecided as the pictures weren't that complementary, especially with the luster. It's a PCGS MS67 which has a pop of 117 at PCGS, so not too hard to find. There are also 30 in 67+, but only one graded 68.
Anyhow, while I was deciding, I put in a low bid which including buyer's fees was under Greysheet bid. At some point I decided I would just let someone outbid me, but no one ever did. I was keeping my fingers crossed that the coin in hand would look better than it did in the pics, and fortunately it does.
It actually has nice luster in hand and the toning looks better, as well. So, I got it for a good price and I'm happy with it, so that's what matters! My pictures don't really do it justice, either; for example, the mottled toning in the obverse fields is much fainter and barely noticeable in hand.
