Obverse The central image of the obverse is a impression of a microchip, the key to future communications, designed by Andreas Zanaschka. Reverse The purely symbolic reverse gives an illuminating picture of the world surrounded by a compilation of technological instruments and electronic devices that have made our planet into a global village (even if some of the neighbours do give a little aggro from time to time).
