I picked up this 1986 proof Canadian half at a coin show even though I have particular passion for Canadian coins. Paid a buck for it. Sometimes it's about what strikes my fancy, and I find this coin very attractive.

finally got to go down to the coin store before I leave for vacation tomorrow. 1 silver maple and 1 cougar, plus the canadian coins guide to look over while on the beach in cuba :P

thanks ! coin looks great. I like that queen portrait the best out of all the effigies, but I guess they have to change them to keep up with how she actually looks :)
