I picked up this 1986 proof Canadian half at a coin show even though I have particular passion for Canadian coins. Paid a buck for it. Sometimes it's about what strikes my fancy, and I find this coin very attractive.  |

I don't have a single piece of London Olympics yet (and I would most definitely like them) but already got this Sochi '14 coin  Another international sports piece, upcoming 2012 European Football Cup co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland  |

thanks ! coin looks great. I like that queen portrait the best out of all the effigies, but I guess they have to change them to keep up with how she actually looks :)

It's been a very successful week or two, coinwise. Here is some 'junk' silver recently liberated from melt tubs. Apologies for the snapshots in place of photographs.. Can you spot the few kernels of real value in that pile of chaff? The 1874H Canadian dime is one, but not the best. Pics of individual coins gladly posted by request.
