Great Britain is ultra common; the tubs are always loaded with various denoms and I usually ignore them but they are hard to resist in this condition if one is collecting world silver by type.   Did someone say they were fond of Balboas? Don't overlook the smaller ones! There are just about always one or two of these in the sources I check.   I have found the one lats before but not the twos.. choice condition.   Monster dark toning!   It wasn't until I got home and checked this one in Krause that I discovered it is nickel masquerading as silver. No matter.. it was worth the price, yeah! |

Thanks guys; appreciate the comments. Here are a few more from last week:   Bottom left = Saudi Arabia 1/4 rial. I suspect the others are Chinese.   Those two shiny coins are from Curacau. Minted in Philadelphia!   The 1901 was the heartbreak of the trip. Both these coins are BU. Krause value on the 1901 = $300+ (without the xtra hole.  ) There were half a dozen of the 10c. version in that tub, all BU; all holed. They all cat. in 3 figures. I left 'em. |

Found this unslabbed Mercury on ebay and was able to get it for under $10. Not a big ticket coin but I love the Mercury dimes.   |

Bought 10 silver Roosevelts from my coin dealer for my dime set. Ended up getting a 1946, a 1946-D (hole filler), a 1954-S (hole filler), a 1957 (hole filler), a 1957-D (hole filler) and five 1964-D's.
