Here's a DDO obverse 1 on wexlers site compared to the only DDO on VV site. This is what I was confused about a few days ago. 001 on VV is actually 017 on wexlers site, which seems to be not working as I type. Die gouge next to T in trust for markers. Enjoy !

Yep, looks like WDDO-001 and not DDO-001.

These used to be worth a good premium back when they were first discovered (I sold some for $20-30 each). The price has dropped since as more and more examples were found. The last one that sold on ebay sold for around $10.

Wexler's WDDO-001:
2017-P-LSC-WDDO---001
The doubling on WDDO-017 and DDO-001 is not the same as your coin. The mint mark on your coin is not doubled:
2017-P-LSC-WDDO---001
So check the bottom of those letters on WDDO-001 to see if they notching is there or not? If it isn't then it may be a different die number. All the hub doubling should be a match on these attributed dies. Not just one area.

If you scroll down to wddo-017, it would be this coin I posted here
http://goccf.com/t/329647
Which on Variety Vista is listed as Ddo-001 & the only one listed for 2017
http://varietyvista.com/01e%20LC%20...1%20cent.htm
See how that can be confusing lol. Hope that clears it up :)

I found one of the 017 a few months back, though in bad condition. Nice find, even though it isn't it.

If I read the Wexler site right,001 is a master hub doubling like the 1972 is. No added value.

Thank you Tanman. Was just about to post DD.com whole spread. Also, the 017 I posted a link to above is also attributed correctly. I have all the markers.
